Waipara classic last Saturday – awesome weather, pity about the handicapping as it never seems likely for anyone on scratch to compete for overall. Awesome to watch the product of New Zealand’s track programme in Hash and big Jas’s power, and Tom Hubbarb’s fastest time just goes to show not always the strongest but smartest wins.
