Pretty exciting day for the team – we have the sprint ace jersey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some stats. I was on 8 points, leader on 9 points going into the day. 5 for 1st; 3 for 2nd; 1 for 1st. I came 2nd in the (uphill) sprint today at 112k mark.
G-man gave an inspirational team-meeting g-up this am, and the boys stood up to the challenge – Grover, Matt, Wes and Sam – around me, towards the front, bringing back a VERY dangerous break close to the sprint. And I almost rolled first but got passed in the last bit.
