When you finish a cold and wet stage like today, the first nervous stage no less, you’re just happy to be in one piece sans punctures sans crashes!
Had a go at getting away a few times, crucially 700m from the sprint ace (but got caught with a few metres to go).
Busing now to the start of tomorrows stage, supposeably warmer and drier!
