This recipe has been taken from Pez cycling website an I’ve adapted a little.
Toast (in the oven under a grill): 100g of sesame seeds, 1 cup of wheatgerm or oatbran, and 1cup of chopped nuts (almonds, (unsalted) cashews or walnuts).
Melt (slowly in a pan on the stove top): 1cup of liquid honey and 1cup of crunchy peanut butter.
Mix then add (one at a time) 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2cups of Harraway wholegrain oats, ½ cup of milk powder, 1cup of chopped apricots (or other dried fruit) and toasted ingredients.
Mix well then put in a 20cm x 20cm baking dish add put in freezer to set.
Once set remove and leave out to defrost a little so that it makes it easy to chop up, but not too long that it becomes sticky again.
